We continue to meet at Sara’s during the summer and we are starting a study called “Discipleship 101.” You can find the study at www.student.org and download it. We are working on Week 1 this week and hope you will join us!

End of the Year Retreat/Party

Sorry we haven’t updated for a while, but just so you know, this Saturday and Sunday, June 12-13 will be our end of the year celebration. You’ve made it through this year and we want to celebrate that as well as recognize Scot and Miranda for all their hard work this year. It will be a time of fun, memories, hiking, probably some singing, and vision casting for the next year. If you want to come, either RSVP with Richard on facebook or through here by leaving us a message by Thursday night at 7 p.m. We need to know how many to expect, so please let us know asap.

Monday Night Hangout and a few opportunites

Wow, we haven’t updated in a while, but we are having Connect at Sara’s tomorrow night at 6 p.m. Check locations for the address.

There are a few things coming up really soon that we need a quick response on:

-Softball Tournament- Saturday, May 29 at 8 a.m. We are having a softball tournament for missions. It is co-ed and the cost for a team of at least 8 is $165. I would suggest practicing sometime and we may have that one night in the next week or two.

-Medical Assistance- Hall Blvd Baptist Church (www.hallbbc.com) is starting a ministry where every 3rd Saturday of the month, they are offering free medical screenings to low-income families. There are opportunities to serve by either greeting, doing hands on work, or directing other events. If you’d like more info, contact the church or Richard.

-Children’s Ministry- Kelly Nelson has a kids ministry that runs Tuesday through Thursday from 4-8 p.m. and could use some help. If you would like to help her, please contact her or Richard for more info. Opportunities to help with ESL may be possible as well.

-Vacation Bible School- Hall BBC is also looking for help in July to run their annual VBS. If you would like to help, please contact the church or Richard.
